A free public lecture by Darrell Brown, Senior Vice President, US Bank, part of the Creativity+Innovation series.

In order to teach managers to be successful and prosperous where others fail, you must engage an entrepreneurial mind set in a world that embraces the status quo.

 

Darrell, a native of Los Angeles, is a Senior Vice President for the Metropolitan Banking Group, Greater Los Angeles Coastal Region of U.S. Bank, the nations’ sixth largest commercial bank with over $291 billion in assets and 17.2 million customers. With over 38 years of extensive experience in diverse leadership and management roles within the banking world, he is an outspoken advocate for identifying new markets for individual customers with diverse financial needs. Darrell is recognized as a proven change agent with expertise in revitalizing organizations, building brand equity, and affecting positive growth. 


This presentation is part of the series of free, public lectures in the Dean's Lecture Series entitled "Creativity and Innovation" (part of the course Art 80V: "Issues and Artists" taught by Associate Professor Lewis Watts). Arts Division Dean David Yager has selected nine speakers, all noted for their unique ability to bridge innovation and creativity within their professional career paths. The public is cordially invited. Admission is free. Parking $3.
