Dean’s Research Professor: Awarded to advanced assistant to middle-stage associate professors with substantial research accomplishments whose recent achievements suggest the promise for national and/or international contributions to their fields(s). Professors are appointed to a three-year non-renewable term with a yearly payment of $5,000 into a non-expiring research account.
Dean’s Eminent Professor: Awarded to faculty who have attained Professor Step V and above. Holders of the Dean’s Eminent Professorship will have demonstrated unusual academic merit, possess international reputations, and show high promise for future scholarly achievement. Professors are appointed to a five-year renewable term with a one-time payment of $10,000 into a non-expiring research account.
