Jeremy Strick

Director, Nasher Sculpture Center

Jeremy Strick was appointed Director of the Nasher Sculpture Center, in Dallas, Texas in March 2009. 

 

At the Nasher he has initiated a number of new and exciting projects, including such programs as Sightings: New Art at the Nasher and Soundings: New Music at the Nasher.  He has also brought a number of ground-breaking and critically acclaimed exhibitions to the Center such as The Art of Architecture: Foster + Partners, Jaume Plensa: Genus and Species, Rachel Whiteread Drawings and Revelation: The Art of James Magee

 

Prior to assuming the directorship at the Nasher, Jeremy served over nine years as the director of The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles, California.  He also served as a senior curator at the Art Institute of Chicago, and held curatorial posts at The Saint Louis Art Museum and the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.
