Mapping a City of Fragments v.2 1996, 12:40

Uses the opening of Alphaville as a building block for a vision of the evolving Global City. Repetitious montage of the changing urban space is interrupted by shots of Silicon valley corporate facades to emphasize the contrast between urban/suburban; chaos/order; the post-modern and the modern. Shot in Tokyo, Mexico City, Rome, Naples, Los Angeles and Silicon Valley,on Hi-8.
