The Arts Dean’s Fund for Excellence is open to student applications to support the dissemination of their research. Faculty applications should be directed to the Arts Research Institute ( Faculty are also encouraged to seek other sources of funding from the campus, and by working with our Research Grants Coordinator, Stephanie Moore (


Briefly describe your project or funding request, 100 - 500 words.
Please attach a full budget and any pending funding applications, including funding you have received from other sources, in PDF format.
Files must be less than 2 MB.
Allowed file types: pdf.
Have you received Excellence funding this academic year?
How large an audience do you expect will attend your event (if appropriate)?
If appropriate, what will you do to publicize your project?
Have you verified your dates with the Arts Events Office?
Email address of your department chair. We will solicit a letter of support from your chair. (Graduate students please note that we want the contact information of your department chair, not your dissertation chair, advisor, or DGS.)
