NEW APPLICANTS:
Sign up HERE. Please prepare one fast (as in tempo) solo piece to demonstrate technical ability. During the audition you will be asked to sight-read some short excerpts and to play a major or minor scale up to four sharps or flats.
Rehearsal schedule will be announced later.
The first rehearsal will be on Thursday, 10/2, 6:00-8:00 PM.
Concert dates are November 21 & 22 at 7:30 PM.
Most of the parts for the Fall quarter are ready for pick up now - they are placed in large envelopes stapled to the orchestra board down the main stairs at the Music Building.
RETURNING MEMBERS do not need to audition to join
the orchestra. However, you will need to have a seating audition.
Tuesday 10/7 and Thursday 10/9, 3:00–5:00 in Room 145 in the Music
