Join UCSC's Kirsten Brandt for a big-screen viewing of this classic film noir starring Barbara Stanwyck, Fred MacMurray, and Edward G. Robinson. Directed by Billy Wilder.
The film is loosely based on the infamous 1927 murder case that also captured playwright Sophie Treadwell’s attention as the basis for her 1928 play Machinal which Brandt will direct on the UCSC Mainstage February 28-March 9.
