Lin Li is a popular Chinese mainland leading actress, best known for her leading role in the 40-episode TV series "Tang Guo Nan Ren He de Nu Ren" (The Woman Who Passed Men's River).
She has been the recipient of many prestigious awards including the highest Chinese mainland TV Award Golden Eagle for Best Actress and the Shanghai Filmmakers Association for the Best Dramatic Performance. She was born in a family of artists: her grandmother is the famous actress Ruqiu Ouyang, and her grandfather is Sha Meng, director of the 1950’s film classic “Battle on Shangganling Mountain."
