Digital Arts Research Center, Rm 302 (UCSC)
Presented by:

Institute of the Arts and Sciences

The Institute of the Arts and Sciences at UC Santa Cruz is built on a visionary premise: to create the first dedicated public space within a world-class research university that will harness the combined power of the arts and sciences to explore the critical issues of our time.

The institute's galleries, learning spaces, and events facilities will invite collaboration and learning in all its forms.

Join Founding Director of the Institute of the Arts and Sciences (IAS), John Weber, and members of the IAS Advisory Council for light refreshments in the IAS Suite, DARC 302. See the original design concept renderings submitted by award-winning architects Tod Williams and Billie Tsien and learn about the pre-building programming underway, including artist residencies, events, and exhibitions. Faculty from the arts, sciences, and humanities will be on hand to talk about their cross-disciplinary collaborations, which represent the cornerstone of the Institute's programming.

For more information contact Katherine Robinson, Sr. Director of Development, Institute of the Arts and Sciences.

Event is free and open to the public.
Parking $3 in adjacent lot.
