Lunatic Binary: Experiments in Digital Art

The Digital Arts and New Media MFA program announces "Lunatic Binary: Experiments in Digital Art," an exhibition of work by emerging artists presented in association with the Art Department's Open Studios.

The show features work by current first-year students pursuing Master of Fine Arts degrees in digital art. Works to be exhibited include reactive video, experimental animation, interactive story-generating algorithms, narrative videos, innovative social documentation, and experimental audiovisual mixes.

 

Participating artists are Joe Cantrell, Meredith Drum, Elaine Gan, Fabiola Hanna, Dustin Raphael, Aaron Reed, Phoenix Toews, and Jose Carlos Espinel Velasco.

 

Friday, March 12, 12:00–4:00 PM

 

Light Lab (Digital Arts Research Center, Rm 306) 

Directions: From the Visual Arts complex, head south and cross the pedestrian bridge to the third floor of the DARC building. Room 306 is ahead and to the right. Building is next to the parking lot near the Recital Hall.
