The Harpoons enjoy pushing the limits of the traditional concert experience. They combine music of many genres and create an engaging, personal experience with their audiences. Erin Irvine has been a professional bassoonist in the Bay Area for the past 12 years. She is currently the bassoon instructor at UC Santa Cruz. Jessica Schaeffer moved to the Bay Area four years ago and is making waves in new music. She frequently performs at The Claremont Hotel, improvising with electronics and also enjoys a full career in classical music.

Christopher Mallett has been described by Soundboard Magazine as "Virtuosic," and by Classical Guitar Magazine as "Superb." Christopher is a lecturer at UC Santa Cruz and is also the co-owner and co-director of the California Conservatory of Guitar in Santa Clara. His most recent recording "The Porcelain Tower" features solo guitar music from the 20th century and is now available on his website www.christophermallett.com

Guitarist William Coulter is a renowned performer, teacher, and recording artist. He has explored the world of traditional music as both a soloist and a member of ensembles including Isle of Skye, Orison, and the Coulter-Phillips Ensemble. William teaches guitar performance at UCSC.
