Acclaimed Chinese printmaker, Xiang Silou, is the first visiting artist at UCSC's Contemporary Print Media Research Center. During his residency in April 2016, he has been working on woodblock prints in the newly created visiting artist studio. UCSC students are participating in his project and workshops. Please join us in welcoming Xiang Silou to the United States for his first solo exhibition on the West Coast: The Eternal Line: Ordinary Stories—Woodblock prints by Xiang Silou.

Artist talk: 3-5 pm 
Reception with the artist: 5-6pm
Porter Faculty Gallery located at Porter College, UCSC

Followed by Faculty "In Conversation" 6-7pm at the Sesnon Gallery
6:00pm: Conversation with A. Laurie Palmer + Enrique Martinez Leal moderated by Kyle Lane-McKinley

Exhibition dates: April 7 - May 7
Gallery hours Tuesday-Saturday 12-5pm and Wednesdays 12-8pm or by appointment for special tours. The gallery is located at Porter College on the UC Santa Cruz campus.
