Arts Designer - Retired
Professional Interests:

Working on the web: The web continually evolves, permits instantaneous communication, is easily changeable, is accessible to so many people worldwide and is a very exciting medium.

Graphic design: all aspects.

It is important that the creative and scholarly work that goes on in the Arts shows. The power of design to bring our accomplishments to light works best when design itself is innovative.

Beginning with customizing our Arts Division logotypes, the branding I created has helped increase the visibility of the Arts Division and our departments. Over the last 8 years, I have enjoyed designing a wide range of projects from websites to posters, brochures to banners, and promotional items to barn signs.

Specifically, my main tasks are:

Branding: Create branding for the Arts Division and assist with its consistent implementation.

Web Design: Design and maintain the public-facing web presence for the Arts Division. Create distinctive and striking design elements. Ensure Arts Division compliance with campus web guidelines. Develop services associated with end-user web content creation and publishing. Meet regularly with Department Managers, Development and Public Events staff, and others.

Print: Design print materials.

Resource: Be a design resource for faculty, departments and the Division.
