With clarinets, double reeds, and saxophone, this San Francisco group bends the 20th- and 21st-century “wind quintet” sound—including new music from Tom Johnson, Ned McGowan, Matthew Schlomowitz, and UC Santa Cruz’s David Evan Jones—in unexpected directions.

Works by David Evan Jones (Splintered Narrative), Gyorgi Ligeti (Variations), Tom Johnson (Narayana’s Cows), Ned McGowan (Wood Burn), and Matthew Schlomowitz (Line and Length).

Featuring Kyle Bruckman (oboe), Dana Jessen (bassoon), Bill Kalinkos (clarinet), Jeff Anderle (bass clarinet), and David Wegehaupt (sax)
