Interns will also assist in seeking out project specific funding sources such as consulates, cultural organizations, individuals, and charitable foundations. In addition, interns will help organize incoming concert proposals, and develop larger curatorial programs with an eye toward Indexical’s long-term goals. Interns will also have the opportunity to contribute to Indexical’s podcast and series of artists talks by researching potential guests, conducting interviews, and audio production, which includes engineering and editing recordings or other documentation.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized individual, a competent writer and editor for a variety of nonacademic contexts, and a clear and prompt communicator. Experience with working with Excel (or similar program), graphic design and media production skills are highly desired. The selected intern will gain a holistic view of the organization and work across the Indexical team.
