Alison is Chief of Staff for the UC Santa Cruz Arts Division. Prior, she was Executive Assistant to the Campus Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, and originally began her career at UC Santa Cruz in the Chancellor's Office. An alumna of the Environmental Studies program (College 8, now Rachel Carson College, '98), Alison was in the first cohort of Chancellor's Undergraduate Interns where she worked on the campus plan for the UC Natural Reserve System. In 2019-20 Alison received the Career Success Honored Administrator Sammy Award for 'advancing the UC Santa Cruz Career Success Mission and Vision.' Alison volunteers regularly with youth programs in her community.
