At the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco Annual Gala on April 10, $1.7 million were raised the largest sum ever for a single FAMSF event, all to benefit exhibition and educational programming for the de Young and Legion of Honor. This includes the de Young’s most recent exhibition, I Dream a World, a multimedia collection from Sir Isaac Julien, a distinguished professor of art.
