Ted Warburton, Interim Dean of the Arts and Professor of Dance, introduces the 2020 speaker series with interview and podcast host, Lyle Troxell.

Featuring a distinguished roster of guest speakers, including arts practitioners and educators who will provide illuminating insights each week, with personal stories on the artistic character that can shape a creative life dedicated to social change. Guests cover a range of topics, from the importance of habits of heart and mind that can transform some “thing” into something original… to ways in which the arts can create productive change.

Lyle Troxell is a Senior Software Engineer at Netflix who focuses on Post Production tools (from Camera to Conform). Lyle has been interviewing people for two  decades and currently hosts three podcasts: WeAreNetflix, The Important Thing, and Geek Speak with Lyle Troxell. Lyle is the former Technical Coordinator for UCSC's Digital Arts and New Media program (2004-2013) and was the Administrative Systems Specialist for the Arts Division (2002-2004).
