Join the Arts Division and a panel of museum professionals for a conversation about museum careers. Learn about the challenges and opportunities museums are currently facing. Guest speakers include René de Guzman of the Oakland Museum of California, Rita Gonzalez of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Tomoko Kanamitsu of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Each guest will speak about their profession and experiences in the field. Students will receive personal insight about career pathways in the industry, and how current events may shape the future of museums.
