Internship: Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (MAH)
I am looking forward to learning more of what makes up a museum, how it functions, and what kind of values it holds.
Working in the youth program for the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History (MAH) is an experience that Maria expects will influence and broaden her education in what is necessary to have a successful job in a museum setting. She’s eager to connect with her MAH co-workers and find out more about their career paths.
“I also look forward to working with the community and the kids in the MAH’s youth program,” she says. “I anticipate it will teach me a lot about education and how that can connect to the art world.
“I applied to CEI because not only was it a smooth process, but it offered a wide variety of internship options.”
