Up to Us - Year of Action

Through Up to Us, student leaders mobilize their community on campus to understand why fiscal policy matters and how those policies and the national debt affect our generation’s economic outlook and fiscal futures through creative and engaging non-partisan activities. It’s simple! Pick from a list of activities designed to make an impact. We’ll give you the tools, training, and funding to ensure your activation has what it needs to be successful so you can reap the rewards.

Film Fest - Screen a collection of short films or a documentary about the national debt and its impacts. Follow the screening with a moderated discussion.

Hosting stipend: $100

Trivia Game Night - Students attend a game night where they form teams and are tested on their national debt knowledge and current events.

Taco Bout the Debt Tabling Event Make a splash on campus by handing out tacos with national debt facts. This is a light-touch event meant to grab people’s attention.

Hosting stipend: $150

Participant goal: 200
