Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana”

Carmina Burana: painting of women dancing

Don’t miss this powerful musical event! Nicole Paiement conducts the full UCSC Orchestra and the combined vocal forces of the UCSC Chamber Singers and Concert Choir — over 100 strong — in a semi-staged presentation of Carl Orff’s dramatic choral-orchestral favorite based on medieval texts about love, drinking, and springtime.

With soloists Claire Gendler, soprano; Brian Staufenbiel, tenor; Peter Tuff, bass/baritone.
