"Black (W)hole," an interactive exhibition experience. The visitor becomes immersed in a field of stars accompanied by the visual and auditory re-creation of a black hole and the abstract equations that describe it. Designed by The Einstein Collective, a group of artists, scientists, and educators from several universities, this collaborative project incorporates data visualization, the arts, and astrophysics. Through somatic engagement, involving the whole person, the installation engages both mind and body, expanding the viewer's capacity to imagine and wonder.
