"One Night Only" – with George Marsh and Barry Green

Showcasing the very best of the UCSC Music faculty, featuring percussionist George Marsh with Larry Polansky, guitar, and bassist Barry Green with Aiden McKee, percussion and Michael McGushin, piano in an eclectic program including jazz-inspired and improvisatory works.

Program
Barry Green will play Eric Hansen's Greenbury Jig, Andres Martin's Love Song, David Anderson's Funkapreccio for BG, Francois Rabbath's Cri de Venice, and Simon Garcia's Allegretto Scherzando. George Marsh will perform  Jazz, a structured improvisation based on the styles that have influenced him over the last 60 years and Logrhythms for David, an improvisation for the late David Wessel of UC Berkeley's Center for new Music (CNMAT). He will also perform an additional two improvisations that he has composed in collaboration with professor Larry Polansky.
