Shakespeare To Go: "Hamlet"

Friday, June 6, 2014 - 11:00am
Second Stage, Theater Arts Center (UCSC)
Presented by:
Theater Arts Department

A company of UCSC students perform a 1-hour version of a Shakespeare play in what is always an energetic and inventive presentation. After performing all spring in area schools, this is their final performance of the season!

This year's production of Hamlet is directed and adapted by Kimberly Jannarone. Special guest artists include Eric Parson (composer) and Carla Pantoja (fight choreographer).

Shakespeare to Go began in 1988 as a collaboration between the UCSC Theater Arts Department and Shakespeare Santa Cruz. Each year, a Theater Arts faculty member develops a short adaptation of a Shakespeare play to be presented by a cast and crew of UCSC students. Shakespeare To Go kicks off as a Theater Arts course each Winter Quarter and tours to local schools and community groups during Spring.

Free and open to the public.
Parking $4.
