Notify the Arts Division About Your Event

NOTIFY THE ARTS DIVISION OF YOUR EVENT AND/OR REQUEST SERVICES

For events that are being produced, presented, or sponsored by units of the UCSC Arts Division.

Events may may include award presentations, open auditions, receptions, commencements, live demonstrations, film screenings, exhibitions, performances, talks, etc. (Note: internal departmental business or regular class meetings are not considered “events.”)


Once Arts receives notification of your event, staff in the Arts Events Office (AEO) will confirm the event and verify approval from the presenting/producing unit. Work will commence at this stage.

Part 1: NOTIFY THE ARTS DIVISION (this is required)
• Arts Events will notify TAPS of events in UCSC facilities
• Arts Dean's leadership will have access to information

Part 2: REQUEST AN ONLINE LISTING AT NO-COST (optional)
• Event listings on the Arts Division website AND Campus Events Calendar
• Consideration for monthly Arts news & events email, social media, and radio announcements
• Potential additional promotion from UCSC

Part 3: REQUEST EVENT SERVICES FROM ARTS DIVISION (optional)
• Zoom Services (no cost)
• Digital Poster (no cost)
• Print Poster (printing charge)
• Digital Program (no charge)
• Print Program (printing charge)
• Distribution of Printed Poster (service charge)
• Ushers + House Management (student labor charge)
• Ticketing (service charge + student labor charge)
• Barn Sign Reservation Request (painting charge)*
