UC Santa Cruz’s Film & Digital Media Department has opened a groundbreaking new facility, the Social Documentation Laboratory, with state-of-the-art technology designed to help students elevate socially engaged filmmaking

In December the Film and Digital Media Department officially opened the new Social Documentation Laboratory. The state-of-the-art facility gives graduate students access to some of the best technology in filmmaking, while creating a space intended on supporting diversity and those with different needs.
