UC Santa Cruz students are invited to watch four interviews between visiting Theater Arts professor Clint Ramos and costume design professionals. Designer Johanna Pan will join Ramos in the conversations.

January 27
Charlese Antoinette Jones, a film costume designer, speaks to us about her workflow in making her designs a reality—from research, to drawings, to her communication with a shop.

February 10
Mia Neal, a hair designer for film, TV, and theatre, shares her process of working in a creative team and with costume designers to transform actors into the characters we envision.

February 24
Carl Goldberg, bespoke shirtmaker, works with many costume designers to create the first layer we see in most costumes: the shirt.

March 10
Alice Choo Risser, associate costume director of Oregon Shakespeare Festival, sheds some light on her process of helping designers to realize their vision.
