The Circadian Quartet was founded by UCSC alumnus David Ryther in 2013 to perform classical and contemporary "music of folkloric and cultural significance." The ensemble features Sarah Wood (of Cultures in Harmony) on violins, Omid Assadi on viola, and David Wishnia on cello. CQ are proud to have worked closely with several living composers, including Sahba Aminikia, Toronto-based composer and pianist Noam Lemish, and British composer Ian Venables. The concert features the music of Claude Debussy, UCSC composer Ben Leeds Carson, and Igor Stravinsky.
