Arts Dean’s Student Leadership Board
The Arts Dean’s Student Leadership Board (DSLB) are selected by their departments to serve as representatives and student leaders, providing student perspectives on issues and items set by the Dean of the Arts.
The 2025-26 Arts Dean’s Student Leadership Board (DSLB) will focus on the theme of community building and belonging. Specific activities, in addition to the above responsibilities, will be developed and discussed during regular meetings.
DSLB members will bring skills in the following areas: producing content, a desire to be more involved in building a robust Arts community welcoming of all students; and a keen interest in engaging in the power of communication and storytelling. DSLB members serve as ambassadors through their own attendance, participation, and mobilization of student involvement in Arts events.
DSLB members have the following responsibilities:
- Represent their departments by bringing student perspectives and experiences to our DSLB goals
- Work with Arts Division staff and as a team to help create content for social media and actively help to advertise and repost events through our social media platforms
- Liaison with the student community in the Arts and the campus to help promote events within the division,
- Bolster student engagement and participation in divisional and departmental events (attend and encourage others to attend)
