Karen Elizaga
For almost 20 years as an executive coach, Karen Elizaga has worked to inspire clients to define and achieve success in their business and personal lives. She started her career as a New York corporate lawyer and moved on to the executive teams of two technology start-ups in London. Karen works with executive teams to enhance performance and drive results, supplementing her work with her book, Find Your Sweet Spot, an insightful and supremely helpful guide for achieving excellence in one’s work and personal life.
Karen absolutely loves the arts. She served as an executive producer of Yellow Rose, an award-winning narrative film that tells the story of an undocumented 17-year-old Filipina dreamer and aspiring country music singer. An avid theater-goer, Karen has served as a co-producer of the newly launched Museum of Broadway and as an investor in a number of Broadway shows and other early stage enterprises, including the Broadway Exchange, an NFT company dedicated to celebrating live theater.
Since 2008, Karen has been extensively involved in work with Womankind, an organization that has supported survivors of violence in the Asian communities of New York City for 40+ years. She served as the chair of the Board from 2013 to 2021 and was honored by the organization with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022. Although Honolulu will always be home, Karen lives in Manhattan with her husband, Jay, kids, Sloane (at UC Irvine for the moment) and Finn, and Leavitt bulldogs, Sully and Mike.
