Excellence and Equity in the Arts!
The Arts Dean’s Fund for Excellence & Equity ensures that all students and faculty are given the support they need to succeed. Serving the changing demographic of our University and the State of California, this fund supports faculty and student research opportunities that would otherwise not be possible. The Arts Dean’s Fund for Excellence & Equity is entirely donor funded. The Dean’s Office is extremely grateful for the generous support of our contributors, whose gifts have played a significant role in the success of hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students.
In addition to removing barriers to graduation and career success for our students, the Arts Dean's Fund for Excellence & Equity fund also awards noncompetitive grants in support of Divisional priorities. The Arts Dean’s Fund for Excellence seeds innovative projects to create a more inclusive curriculum, funds education and outreach programs such as Shakespeare To Go, and brings world-renowned diverse artists and scholars to interact with our students and community. Together we are building a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community in which the Arts act as a lens to address pressing issues of our time.
