Living Condition

Living Condition is an animated documentary project that tells the stories of three families living with a relative condemned to execution. The film focuses on the ways family members cope with the trauma of the death penalty, told in their own words. The project is directed by Associate Professor Dee Hibbert-Jones with Nomi Talisman and Community Resource Inititive, a non-profit organization that focuses on advocacy for prisoners on death row. The project is also supported by grants from the Creative Work Fund, UC Institute for Research in The Arts (UCIRA), the San Francisco Arts Commission, and the Arts Research Institute.

Project of Associate Professor of Art & Digital Art New Media Dee Hibbert-Jones.
