As the daughter of parents who immigrated to the United States from Suchitepéquez, Guatemala, UC Santa Cruz recent alumna, Jocelyn Lopez-Anleu, is the youngest of three siblings and the first in her family to graduate from a four-year university. 

Growing up in Cebu, the Philippines surrounded by a close-knit extended family, Clint Ramos has fond memories of his childhood there.

Digital Arts and New Media (DANM) Technical Coordinator, Colleen Jennings, has designed a 3D model of the Mary Porter Sesnon Art Gallery that will enable the Irwin 2020: Collective Solitude exhibition to take place online.

After 38 years… 38.1718 to be exact, the Arts Division’s IT Director/ITS Divisional Liaison to the Arts/Webmaster, Scotty Brookie, a man of many talents, has decided to retire.

The Leonardo Art/Science Evening Rendezvous (LASER) is an international program of evening gatherings that brings together artists, scientists, and scholars for informal presentations and conversations.

This summer, a very talented group of 13 UC Santa Cruz dance students will go to camp. But not in the typical way. This camping trip, based at the Centre National de la Danse, will bring together students and choreographers from all over the world.
