Join the Institute of the Arts and Sciences for Traction: Art Talk with Andrea Fraser. Fraser is an internationally renowned artist whose work has been identified with performance, feminism, and institutional critique. Fraser's notable works include Museum Highlights (1989), in which the artist posed as a tour guide at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, leading visitors to consider “artworks" such as a drinking fountain, and Down the River(2016), which brought the sounds of Sing Sing prison to the Whitney Museum of American Art's 18,000 square-foot 5th floor.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Parking is available in the Performing Arts lot (pay at the on-site pay station).​
