The UCSC Chamber Singers, directed by Michael McGushin, present a concert celebrating the 500-year anniversary of the creation of the Medici Codex—one of the most valuable documents of primary source material for Renaissance polyphonic choral music—and the 90th birthday of Scottish/American composer Thea Musgrave. Other works on the program include pieces by Johannes Ockeghem, James MacMillan, Shulamit Ran, and Gwyneth Walker.
