I am looking forward to networking with the other interns and people who are in the industry, and to get to know how the industry works.
Growing up in Puerto Rico, St. Croix, and Florida, Keana loves going to the beach but as a Film & Digital Media major, she especially loves to watch movies and is looking forward to her internship at Legendary Entertainment, a leading media company with film (Legendary Pictures), television and digital (Legendary Television and Digital Media) and comics (Legendary Comics) divisions dedicated to owning, producing and delivering content to mainstream audiences with a targeted focus on the powerful fandom demographic.
“I’m hoping to meet people who I can work with in the future,” she says. “Learning the ins and outs of the industry will enable me to feel competent and prepared when I find a job.”
Keana applied to the CEI program because it provided her with a lot of valuable information about interning and, how to achieve goals and be successful. She’s also excited about her post-internship project. “It feels like it could be very helpful to me and my future and I want to stay in contact with people I’ll interact with during my time at Legendary.”
