Through the CEI program, I expect to obtain hands-on experience that will give me insight in narrowing my career goals and allowing me to add even more skills to my tool belt.
As a first-generation Asian American student filmmaker, Brendan is grateful that the CEI program is oriented towards placing under-represented undergraduates in internships. He’s thrilled to be an intern at Lionsgate this summer, one of the world’s top entertainment companies, and looks forward to making connections and networking. “I will be allowed to create with supervisors, mentors, and peers,” he says. “I will be immersed completely in a space that is filled with like-minded individuals who may share my same goals and aspirations.”
Brendan also loves to produce his own videos, build models, play board games, and travel. He’s hoping to gain a deeper understanding of the film industry while he’s at Lionsgate. “Through the CEI program, I can move forward and be confident in bringing top quality work and qualifications to my school work now and even after graduation.”
