I applied because I want to push myself out of my comfort zone and reach out to create new goals in my life.
Samantha is looking forward to connecting with people from various backgrounds during her internship at Chronicle Books, a very prestigious independent book publisher in San Francisco. “This internship will teach me how to work in a professional environment,” she says. “I believe it will help me to be more open to other opportunities that come my way.”
She also hopes that the internship experience will allow her to develop personal and professional relationships that will last throughout her burgeoning career. “I’m excited to learn so much of what Chronicle Books has to offer.”
Outside of school, Samantha enjoys traveling, exploring nature, and playing video games. “Doing one thing is not enough for me,” she says. “I want to do everything I can in my lifetime.”
