Arts Computing Budget

Scriabin piano roll, deciphered by Dung Wong and Peter Harris, for Anatole Leikin, 2009

The Arts Computing budget is funded by the Arts Division, the majority coming from "Instructional Computing/Lottery" and "Permanent New Equipment for Instructional Support/Lottery" funds with an additional complement of General State (19900) funds.

From these funds, we maintain the faculty equipment renewal program, refresh staff equipment on a four or five year cycle, provide lecturer and TA equipment, maintain server and other infrastructure, buy software and cloud services, keep current computers running, maintain the Arts web presence, provide backup, and employ student technicians to help with all this.
